DANG THIS IS HARD!!!
Harder than I ever imagined!! More heartwrenching than I EVER imagined!! The roller coaster of emotion that I feel is UNREAL!!! The roller coaster of emotion she must feel must be 100x's worse. Literally, ONE MINUTE she likes us; the next....NOPE!! There have been moments where I thought I was going to lose my mind!!! Mostly because of the time I have lost and the lack of understanding between us! But also from anger at what has been done to us and Sydney!
We're hanging in there. 2 more wake ups till Embassy Day and 4 more wake ups till we go home! COME ON THURSDAY!!!!

Hang in there Kristi! It is hard, the communication, the heartache she feels and i know you want to cuddle her all day long, because you have had her in your heart for 2 yrs....but remember she doesnt know that! She just knows her world has changed and for her she doesnt know how to express it. It WILL GET BETTER!!! She is going to have to learn to love you and your family...When we got Giovanna she was 22 months old and instantly became a DADDY'S GIRL...and 4.5 yrs later she still is. She always prefers him over me...and thats a hard pill to swollow!!! BUT I know she loves me!!!! We have our Mommy Giovanna time, but when Daddy's home....She is all over him!!!
Keep the faith, the Lord has finally put you together FOREVER, and he will make it all good, soon!!!
Just look at her and continue to THANK the Lord for finally putting you all together...Satan is gonna throw all the negatives at you so just let them fly on by...DONT get down!!!!

add to that you are just sitting around in a hotel (well, you might site seeing some), not at home, allowing her to explore her new home. She only has so much to stimulate her right now, and you only have so much to occupy your time. This will eventually fade from her memory and yours. I am praying for bonding and attachment. God can do that!
It WILL get easier, just give it time. Try to relax (I know it's hard) and smile. It WILL get better. Saying some prayers for you.....
Hang in there hon, you of all people know parenting is never easy. And you have even more odd stacked against you w/ everything that has been done.
Remember, if God will bring you to it, he will bring you through it.

You know that Miss S is grieving and you can't hurry through it. It's a great sign that she is missing her old life - that means she knows how to love and bond. She'll love and bond to you in no time. Let her feel, know that it's good, and know that your time is coming. Soon she'll run across the room to jump into your arms. Hugs to all,
