Kristi,
I just got the Combi double for mine (3 and 20 months-same as yours i think!!) and I love it!!! They like it too because no one has to sit in the back:} It fits well through doorways, collapses easy and is lightweight.
Hope this helps,
Caroline
Hey, Kristi! I don't really have any double stroller experience...but I did want to tell you that all of your prayer requests are on my heart. We love you and we can't wait to meet Sydney!!! It has to be sooooooon!!!!! I can feel it!!!!!
Kristi,
I have a 5 1/2 yr old and a 23 month old. Last year when I brought home #2, she was 11 months and my oldest was 4 1/2. I bought the Baby Trend Sit and Stand. I love it and so do the gurlz. My oldest can get in and out of the back easily so that she can have some independence. She can stand up and look out at the world. She can also sit and be strapped in, however, we have rarely done that as she minds me very well and stays with me wherever we go. The little one has a snack tray in front of her, while the big gurl and I have our own drink holders at the handle. There is a storage basket underneath that holds a lot and can be accessed on the side when the big gurl is sitting down. My oldest is starting to outgrow the need for sitting, she wants to walk and help Mommy. So the back area is becoming a great holder of shopping loot! When it was winter the stroller was great to hold both gurlz and all our coats when we were inside some place. A slight down side is that the front seat does not recline all the way so Baby Gurl could not fully recline, but she can sleep anywhere so I did not have too much of a hard time with that. I bought mine at Target (they are also at BRU) for about $130. I love it!!!!! This would be a good stroller if Luke is the type child who will stay with you, won't run off, and likes a little bit of freedom.
Not a stroller like the ones you are looking at, but a great one to consider.
Good luck with the stroller chase and your surgery tomorrow!

I have the side by side Graco stroller (which is a fraction of the price of the ones you listed) and I love it. I had first purchased the Aria but just couldn't justify the price and it has so-so reviews. I returned it and bought the Graco. When we first started using it my girls were 2 and 4 1/2 fast forward 8 months and they are still using it and it's holding up great. The basket underneath is large and holds a lot of stuff. I also knew that with our oldest at 4 1/2 we probably wouldn't get years and years of use out of the stroller since she starts kindergarten this year and I'll mostly be using a single stoller now. But the double is great to have and the Graco price was even better.
Just another suggestion. Have fun shopping.

I have the Graco side by side and love it. I have a 5 and 2 1/2 year old and it's great for them. There is plenty of storage underneath and the price of the stroller was perfect! Much less than many of the side by side stollers out there.
Just another suggestion. Happy shopping.

I have the Inglesina Twin Swift for the boys. It's been a good stroller and I'm ok with it, but on the down side...it's heavy to get in and out of the car (not sure how the weight compares to others, everytime I open it one of the umbrella clips pops off and it's very hard to get stuff in and out of the storage baskets.
Carlton is wanting to walk more and more everywhere we go so I've been contemplating a sit/stand stroller...although my hubby might strangle me if I get another stroller. :)
I found a Prego double stroller at TJMAxx and love it! I also like the Fisher Price Sit and Stand. Both have fit our needs. Having bought several strollers and researched LOTS more, I would suggest you try them out in a store before buying one. I am almost 6 feet tall and some are not tall enough for me. Others don't stroll well around the store...and the all terain strollers are great except the wheels are too big to fit through some aisles...Good luck on finding the right one! :)
I don't have any recommendations on strollers. I have been out of town for a week and I'm just now catching up on your blog. I will be praying for your surgery to go smoothly and praying for the BEST news ever! By the way...where did you find that adorable kitchen set! I think Caroline may need one for Christmas!! :)
Hey Kristi - I have the Inglesina Twin Swift and like it! It's on sale at Albeebaby.com for under $200 - it's lightweight - folds up flat and has been great so far! Good luck finding a new stroller!! Erika (Carolyn's)
