Guatemala - Trip 4 - Day 1

Saturday was a whirlwind of exhaustion and excitement and spending ALL afternoon with the foster families. It all started about 20 minutes after we got to the hotel and didn't end until 9pm!!!! At that point Alan and I were like zombies and Syd was dying to be in her bed to sleep.

Sydney is WONDERFUL!!! The first hour or so she was really clingy to V so we just let it be. We would play with her while "V" had her and then all of a sudden she WANTED ME!!!! Like, climbed V to get to me!!! It was the most heart-melting thing ever. My girl knows us and loves us and........................she's FABULOUS!!! And beautiful and has the MOST HILARIOUS sense of humor and is SOOOOOOO smart!!! And beautiful.

Oh my -- I almost forgot --- SHE IS WALKING!!! She started about a week ago and just loves to take your fingers and GO!!! I can't believe it but she is!! There's so much more to post but it is currently 610 am and I am going back to bed. I only got up to go to the restroom but knew if I didn't post that my blogland friends would be a bit ...... uhm, upset? I'll tell ya more later and post some pictures today.

We do need to ask you to cover us in prayers TODAY--- can't go into detail but we need them. Lots of stuff going on that we hope to start figuring out.
