Job Situation - PRAYERS PLEASE!!!

Let Alan get this job!!!! He interviewed with Verizon wireless' new call center here. He interviewed for a call center agent (answering calls) to get his foot in the door and move up. Same pay/better benefits - we could deal with that! No problem. ESPECIALLY since he starts his masters program this fall!!!

HOWEVER -- he goes into the interview and the lady says, I've already reviewed your application, etc. YOU ARE SEVERLY OVERQUALIFIED for this job but we are going to do the interview anyway!!! We JUST posted a job for an operations supervisor (what his job is now with another wireless group), you need to apply for it AS SOON as you get home...TONGHT!!! She proceeds with the interview and then calls in the lady that interviews for the other job for an "inpromptu interview". Then they stuck a YELLOW STICKY on his app that said - "INTERVIEW FOR OPS JOB" - keep on list for call center!!!

Pray that this job pans out!!! I am remaining cautiously optimistic....this place provides MUCH more financial re-imbursement for school and adoption!!! Breathe Kristi, Breathe!!!
