No promotion for Alan....
Alan, with his 12 years of supervisor experience and 3 years of it in a call center just like he is in now and with his DEGREE IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, has been **DENIED** any further interviews for this position. Found out after the fact that as soon as he mentioned the adoption and needing about a week off towards the end of January or early February, the pre-screener ended the interview.
He is beyond furious.......

I don't think I've ever posted on your blog before, but I've been lurking for a while.
I am no expert, but it sounds like his being eliminated for that reason would be illegal. It might be worth checking into.
