Some "SO SO" news......
The lawyer was successful in filing the amparo against the mayor of the region. He went to meet with them(assuming "them" is the civil registry office) on Monday to tell them what he needed. Office was closed today and tomorrow. Going on Friday to pick up the corrected registration. If he doesn't have it in hand by Tuesday, he's calling the police on the Mayor then and there for illegal practices if he doesn't release it.

This is GREAT news! It's great to see your attorney getting his butt up there any doing something about this. I sure hope it's successful and you have your updated docs early next week!
