Senora Clumsy at your service.....

Well, if there's no drama, you're not at our house!!! Aaron is currently playing in a baseball tourney at our local park. We were heading to the car after their 1 point LOSS (only the 2nd one all season) and I stepped on a rock and turned my ankle. I've done this before but this time I felt a squish, a pull and then a pop..... and took the brunt of the fall on my left knee when I went down. After I caught my breath and rolled to my backside, the nauseau hit along with light-headedness. Managed to get up and in the car but could put very little pressure on it.
Get home, take off my shoe, try to get up - BAD IDEA!!! Ended up at the Huntsville Hospital ER at 9pm after taking AJ to a friend and Luke to my parents. Because I couldn't put any weight on it, they put me in "Direct Care". X-rays of my ankle showed NO BREAK but I have torn ligaments and pulled stuff. Left knee was x-rayed too and it's just bruised and REALLY swollen.
Discharged at midnite with an aircast, 2 scripts for ibuprofen and percocet, orders to be off it for a couple days. I borrowed Mom/Dad's crutches and they have been a big help. Fortunately this will be much better by the time we head to Guatemala in 22 days!! I'll be taking the splint with me. Said I could use my boot from a couple years ago if I needed it. May take that too.......
