The passport saga continues.......

Well, the passport office obviously lies to the congressmen too! On Tuesday afternoon Congressman Cramer's office was told that the passport had been printed and should go out no later than Wednesday. So, here it is Thursday and still no passport. So, I call the passport office AGAIN!

This time I talked to Washington, DC - The ACTUAL passport office. The lady tells me that it was "COMPLETED TODAY" and it should be to us soon!!! They wouldn't give me a date b/c there is "No way to promise when it will actually go in the mail."

I have already emailed Cramer's office but tomorrow morning I WILL be calling the congressman's office again and I will be getting some answers. I will also be requesting a refund for the additional expediting fee b/c of all the crap I've been told - ALONG WITH the congressman's office!!!! This is R~I~D~I~C~U~L~O~U~S!!!

Passport is NOT complete and she wasn't even sure why he told me that yesterday!!! However, it does LOOK like it's in the "FINAL STAGES OF PROCESSING!" I have an Express Mail tracking number that I can start using as early as 3:30 today. If it is shown as picked up, I can track it all the way to my door..... if not, give it a few days to go out and then if still nothing, call them back. OH JOY OF ALL JOYS!!!

Our post office does NOT have, has not seen it, knows nothing about it. Getting back with a REAL person at the passport office is like getting blood out of a turnip. I got lucky yesterday - LUCK, sheer LUCK!! Now I'm having to get back to the passport people and tell them what the PO told me. Stay tuned.....this could get interesting.......MORE interesting.....
