Day 2: Friday

So, Miss Sydney wakes up around 8:30 ready to go!! What a happy mood - what a happy baby - what a blessing!!! We get all ready to go to breakfast with Mandie, Tammy & Izzie. Sit around in the restaurant afterwards just talking --- until the constant stares drove us out! Uhm, it was 10:45, the waitstaff was getting ready for lunch and we were in their way!! OOPS!!

We strolled around a bit and let me tell you, this place is breathtaking. We have so many fabulous pics! Went to the gift shop, got some things to bring home. They'd have been WAY cheaper at market!!! OY YA YOY!!! The girls and Alan are all tired. We needed to take a "post-making a pig of yourself at breakfast" nap! Sydney only sleeps for about 30 - 45 minutes at a time about 4 times a day. It's a good recharge for Alan and me!

After we had our little rest, we went out exploring the gardens/grounds. The people here are so friendly and we just wandered wherever. It was a BEAUTIFUL day - oh so sunny, a slight breeze. It's just gorgeous here this time of year. We decide to stop in this one area and do a photo shoot. We have some really awesome pictures.

The girls were so tired after we were done that they both needed naps again. We trek back to our respective rooms to hang out and snooze, then off to Mandie's room to decide on dinner. We were trying to get my Mom online so we could use their webcam but it didn't work out. Maybe today! Anyway, we are all hungry so Mandie called the front desk to find out who delivers (besides Pizza Hut). We find out there is a great chicken fast food place that will - Pollo something or other. We ordered and waited. THere's no 30 minute guarantees here ----- an hour later, DINNER!!!

We actually saw a wedding taking place on the walkway from their window. The music was beautiful but it was too dark to take any pics to show. That couple married on our anniversary. Hope this day is as wonderful to them as it is to us!

It's around 9:30 and we're exhausted. We say our goodnites and head back to our room. Sydney took about 2ozs and CRASHED! This girl doesn't like her crib and will ONLY sleep right next to me! That's ok with me - she slept from 10pm - 7am....no wake ups, no bottles, no nothing. Good job girl - good job!

I will add more pics later today.
